Pre-Professional Commercial Dance Company

DNA Creatives was founded in 2022 by Donovan and Autumn Gibbs and began as a space for workshops, choreography, and commercial dance training. It quickly evolved into a full-scale dance company dedicated to developing the next generation of professional dancers.

Training dancers ages 5–18 through weekly sessions under Dana’s Studio of Dance Umbrella, DNA Creatives focuses on elite technique, performance, and versatility. We believe versatility is essential in today’s industry, and our training prepares dancers to adapt across styles, settings, and demands. Our goal is to take dancers beyond high school training and equip them with the skills, mindset, and professionalism needed to work in film, television, and music videos.

DNA Directors

Donovan & Autumn Gibbs

In 2014, Donovan and Autumn began their professional dance careers in Los Angeles, California, stepping into the heart of the entertainment industry with a clear purpose—to grow, lead, and inspire. During their time in LA, they performed alongside some of the world’s most influential artists, including Janet Jackson, The Weeknd, Dolly Parton, Camila Cabello, Becky G, J Balvin, Sofia Carson, Zayn, Fetty Wap, Tinashe, Ally Brooke, and Jordan Fisher.

 

Their careers have taken them to the industry’s biggest stages, with performances at the Billboard Awards, the 2020 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Colombian Network Award Shows, the Disney Music Awards, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and the iHeart Music Festivals. These experiences shaped not only their artistry, but their understanding of professionalism, discipline, and leadership within the industry.

As nationally recognized, award-winning choreographers, Donovan and Autumn carry that knowledge into their roles as directors of DNA Creatives, a competitive pre-professional dance company rooted in mentorship, leadership, and purpose. Their mission is not only to provide elite, industry-level dance training and education but to develop confident, disciplined, and versatile dancers who grow into strong leaders and impactful humans.

 

Now based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex, Donovan and Autumn are deeply committed to investing in the next generation—training dancers to chase excellence, lead with integrity, and use their gifts to positively contribute to the world, both on and off the stage.
